The Kuhn GF6502 tedder is a step up from the GF502 model, being bigger in size with a working width of 6.5 meters in comparison to 5 meters while the number of rotors is increased from 4 rotors to 6 rotors in comparison.
The GF6502 tedder is a high quality tedder designed for farmers that want well spread forage with quick drydown. It performs best with short, thick forage as typically found across farms in Ireland and the UK. The 6 compact rotors built within this tedder will ensure gentle forage tedding in order to avoid incorporating soil in the forage. While the uniformed distribution ensures dry time is speeded up with wet clumps minimised.
The exclusive Digidrive finger drive coupling is a key feature of the tedder which due to it’s design provides virtually no maintenance or repairs. The Digidrive rotors and housings which are made of case-hardened forged steel are lubed for life.
The small-diameter rotors also ensure optimised tedding quality with forage travelling in the direction of travel. Adjustments to the tedder can be made are fast and easy without the need for tools in order to adapt to varying conditions of farm land. For movability and storage the tedder is compact and easy to transport.
