As standard the cutterbar has ‘Protectadrive’ safety to help protect the cutterbar against damage, should an obstacle such as a rock be encountered during mowing.
Making adjustments to the Kuhn GMD 24 is simple due to the tool which is supplied and integrated in the mower. While limited greasing points in the overall mower help ensure the lowest levels of maintenance. The mower headstock itself is designed to keep the mower closer to the tractor while the overhang is reduced to make the mowing process safer, especially when in rough fields.
As part of the unique design the GMD24 also has a built-in swath wheel mounted behind the outer cone to separate the cut crop from uncut crop, which therefore ensures the tractor does not go over previously cut crop.
